Product Features

The DiGidot C4 Extended combines all the DiGidot C4 Live features but includes many more powerful features such as recording, a scene generator, playlists, triggering functions, etc. The DiGidot C4 Extended is the perfect solid state stand-alone controller.

Show Recording

Record • Play
The DiGidot C4 Extended pixel controller translates primarily Art-Net and DMX signals to SPI protocols. The DiGidot C4 Extended can record these signals on its microSD card. Once scenes are recorded to the DiGidot C4’s microSD card, the complete lighting installation can run on only the DiGidot C4 controllers. A 8GB microSD card provides roughly 10 hours of recording time. Once recorded, a scene can be looped as often as needed or you can blend the beginning and the end of a scene to a continus playback of the same content. For larger installations, several DiGidot C4s can be connected together and the recorded presets will be played in sync over all connected pixels.

Play • Standalone
By using the DiGidot C4s built-in User Interface, you can not only configure all devices in the network, record and edit scenes, but you can also easily play scenes and playlists. There are several extra options such as adjustment and triggering of brightness, scene speed and even adjustment of colors during live playback. Note that scenes are strictly compatible with C4s with identical configurations.

Full Trigger Control

Connect • Play
Once you have the scenes on your microSD there are several ways to change them. Apart from the User Interface of the DiGidot C4. A chosen scene can be started upon power-up, as soon as the device is powered. The C4 is also equipped with a 3.5mm TRRS jack for 3 analog inputs, such as dry contact or 0-10V signals to control and trigger various features. Physical switches or even motion sensors can be connected easily. And last but not least, time based triggers can be set with the calendar function to trigger scenes and other actions on specific dates and times.

Home automation • Apps
The DiGidot C4 LED controller is in its essence is a networking device that can be integrated into local networks. There are several benefits to that. Every device within a network has its own unique IP address and name. Therefore, one could easily connect to the C4 and manage the device and its lighting presets. Once connected to a network the content on the DiGidot C4 can also be managed through a 3rd party control system like Crestron or AMX using HTTP GET commands. Nonetheless, if the DiGidot C4 is connected to a local network and you have a mobile device connected wirelessly to the same network you can manage its content from our iOS app. More info about the app HERE.

Amazing Output Volume

The DiGidot C4 Live can output to a maximum of 4096 individual LEDs and 1365 RGB LEDs. The LEDs are spread over 4 Outputs, where each can have max. 3 Universes. Lights can be directly connected to the LED driver. The digital Outputs of the DiGidot C4 Live can all have various settings. You can output both the SPI and DMX signal. Being able to directly connect to LED lights allows the creation of more cost efficient lighting installations. Ethernet nodes and switches are no longer a necessity, since the DiGidot C4 combines those features. Several DiGidot C4 devices can be connected together and run the lighting installation as one.

The DiGidot C4 is compatible with more than 40 ICs. DiGidot has been active in professional lighting for more 10 years and assures compatibility with 80% of LED lights used in professional lighting. Even if the IC is not yet the list below, we can always make it available.

Full device control from its web-based interface
Whether you use Mac or Windows, the responsive HTML5 interface works on all well known platforms, such as Chrome and Safari. With its clean look and clear explanations at every button it has a minimal learning curve.
