Architectural-grade low voltage downlighting solutions powered by REVI.
REVI Downlighting
Leverage the power of low voltage downlighting with REVI.
Architectural-Grade Fixtures
High-Quality Lighting
Smooth Dimming
Seamless Control Integration
Custom residential homes are an ideal application for low voltage
downlighting. These new home construction or whole-house
renovation
projects provide the perfect opportunity to integrate an
architectural-grade low voltage downlighting system into a
whole-home
control system.
This solution empowers integrators to offer homeowners the ability
to
leverage the full power of lighting throughout their living
spaces.
Benefits of the REVI Low Voltage Downlighting System
Control System Agnostic
Low voltage downlighting can be integrated into all major
control systems and offers a vast spectrum of
functionality easily tailored to your project
requirements.
All downlights can be fully controlled by any system
utilizing a DMX output. Control instructions are passed
into the REVI drive power supplies and then routed out to
individual fixtures.
Low voltage lighting control systems play a pivotal role
in supporting circadian rhythms, our body's natural daily
cycles that regulate sleep-wake patterns and overall
well-being. Users can utilize REVI tunable white fixtures
throughout a home to mimic the color temperature of
sunlight.
The REVI Downlighting System is an ideal solution for
custom homes, where high- quality lighting is essential
to the property's appeal. REVI integrates seamlessly with
control systems, enabling a homeowner to have maximum
control over their lighting at the touch of a button.
Dimming and color changing can be controlled freely or
programmed to shift on a custom schedule throughout the
day automatically.
Architectural-grade Illumination
Custom homes require high-quality fixtures, and the REVI
architectural-grade LED fixtures are a perfect match for
these projects.
REVI fixtures provide a very high-quality light output
with smooth dimming all the way down to .1%. They are
available in a variety of color temperatures as well as
in tunable white, which can be used for circadian
lighting applications.
Architectural-grade fixtures offer a range of benefits
that make them highly desirable for custom homes:
Superior aesthetics
Quality materials
Precise light control
Customizable fixture finishes
Longevity
In summary, REVI architectural-grade fixtures offer a
combination of superior design, durability, energy
efficiency, and customization options that make them the
ideal choice for custom homes.
Installation: Safer and Simpler
18AWG wire is much simpler and safer to install than
traditional 120 VAC Romex. Low voltage downlighting can
cut installation times by as much as 50%, resulting in
significant savings in labor costs.
Custom homes often utilize a specific room for AV
equipment, providing an ideal location for rack-mounted
downlighting power supplies. The power supplies can be
easily accessible, and serve as a central hub from which
to run low voltage lines out to all the downlights.
Removing Heat, the Enemy of LED Lighting
PROBLEM
Traditional LED light fixtures
have a built-in driver that
converts 120 VAC to low
voltage. The driver becomes a
heat source that stresses LEDs
and shortens their lifespan.
SOLUTION
REVI eliminates the driver
from the fixture, removing the
primary heat source and
enabling a smaller, more
dependable fixture. The light
fixture receives its power
from a remotely located driver
via a "Class 2 18-gauge wire.
*Class 2 wiring adheres to NFPA 70 of the National Electrical Code, which is a benchmark for safe electrical
design, installation, and inspection to protect people
and property from electrical hazards.
What Makes REVI Unique?
Fixture Customization: REVI fixtures offer a wide range of
configuration options.
REVI's architectural-grade residential fixtures are fully
configurable, offering multiple light engine, optic,
trim, baffle, and media options.
Multiple color temperatures are available, including
2700K and 3000K single-color white and tunable white
options including 2700K to 6500K and 1800K to 4000K.
All components are sold separately, but are shipped as
one pre-assembled fixture.
Components needed for a complete residential fixture
include:
REVI downlights are powered by REVI Drive Power Supplies
which are DMX (Digital Multiplex) and RDM (Remote Device
Management) enabled and programmable. REVI Drive Power
Supplies receive lighting instructions from a control
system and adjust lighting accordingly. This
functionality allows for efficient and flexible control
of custom lighting scenes, schedules, effects or
energy-saving strategies.
This level of control makes designing the lighting system
much easier while simplifying the range of power supplies
needed to run low-voltage lighting.
