Use Lutron Diva (DVELV-303P) or Skylark (SELV-303P) Electronic Low Voltage dimmers. We saw performance of about 9%/29% (measured/perceived) in our tests for those dimmers. This 6 watt bulb is much brighter than Halco's 5 watt MR16's and is much less expensive than Halco's 6.5 watt MR16's, so it's a good value for a very bright MR16. If you want a better dimming bulb, we have them. Dimming 12 volt MR16 bulbs always depends to a certain extent on the transformer in the luminaire, so results may vary. This bulb may not be dimmable on all transformers. We do not recommend LED/CFL, Magnetic Low Voltage or incandescent dimmers for this bulb.
