NOT FOR USE WITH PHOTOSENSORS, OCCUPANCY SENSORS, NIGHTLIGHTS OR ELECTRIC CANDLES. Here's why: there are many different kinds of photosensors, nightlights, electric candles and occupancy sensors. Many of them were not designed to work with LED lighting. Specifically, many do not provide "air gap" off—they allow some current to pass when the light is supposed to be "off." Or they modify the sine wave in the "on" state. For an old incandescent bulb, it doesn't matter, but for a high quality energy-efficient LED bulb, it does. Also, some electric candles and night lights have very deep sockets that will prevent the bulb from reaching the contact tab at the bottom. We cannot perform engineering analysis on the many different electric candles and night light sockets on the market, particularly because the orders are typically very small. If you want to buy a few of our bulbs and try them on your electric candle, night light, photosensor or occupancy sensor, you are welcome to do so. But we have no information on your particular luminaire and cannot tell you if it will work. Moreover, we will not accept any returns for orders of our LED Christmas bulbs used in night lights, electric candles, occupancy sensors, photo sensors, X10 systems or any other type automation or control system.
