R30 Flood Lights (3.75 in. dia.)

R30's and BR 30's are the most common reflectors. They're everywhere!

"R" is Reflector. "BR" is Bulge Reflector and subtly different in shape. They're essentially interchangeable. The 30 stands for 30/8 of an inch in diameter (3.75 inches)

Reflectors are directional. CFL's and LED's are the best technology. CFL's are currently brighter, but LED's use hardly any power, and will eventually replace CFL's. LED's are the best for color, and we have plenty of those to offer.

The biggest opportunity to save energy on lighting in many homes is this bulb right here, the R30. Some big homes have over 50.
