The Lemnis Pharox 400 is a dramatic improvement on the 300. It's brighter, with 415 lumens of flux, and the dimming performance is better. We didn't hear any of the buzzing or see any of the flickering we sometimes saw on the Pharox 300. Lemnis warmed up the bulb from 3000° to 2700° Kelvin. You'll also find it works well on a wider variety of dimmers (see notes below.)
- Warm White 2,700° Kelvin.
- Omni-directional.
- 415 lumens.
- 51.9 lumens/watt efficacy.
- 88 CRI.
- 8 watts.
- A19 bulb shape.
- E26/27 (Medium) base.
- 120.
- 35,000 hours expected lifetime.
- Warranty: 3 years.
- High Power Factor.
- Mercury free, eliminating disposal concerns.
- No UV.
- Reduced Maintenance.
- Consistent lamp-to-lamp color.
Dimming notes: The best dimmers to use are a) Lutron CFL/LED dimmers, including the corded floor lamp (Credenza) dimmer, b) Magnetic Low Voltage dimmers that are NOT digital wireless dimmers or c) digital MLV wireless dimmers, such as Lutron Maestro Wireless MRF2-6ND-120 and Lutron RadiaoRA2 RRD-10ND, that DO HAVE neutral wire connections. Stay away from all wireless dimmers that DO NOT have a neutral wire. Works on select Electronic Low Voltage dimmers, but performance on ELV's is so spotty we recommend not using an ELV, especially since they tend to be more expensive than the LED/CLF and MLF dimmers we already know work very well. All that buzzy behavior that plagued its predecessor, the Pharox 300, seems to be gone for good. This is just a better bulb all around, and worth a few extra dollars.
