TCP's R20 bulb combines the brightest LEDs with the best performance on many of our dimmers, and provides over 80% energy savings over incandescent equivalents. These bulbs contain a single light source and a diffusing lens, resulting in a wide flood beam. The heatsink is painted white to match most interior designs.

Dimming notes: This bulb will get along with many of the dimmers we sell. It works well on all of the LED/CFL dimmers once the low-end trim is adjusted to remove bad behavior at the bottom. Lutron Diva (DVCL-153P), Lutron Skylark Contour (CTCL-153P), and Lutron Ariadni (AYCL-153P) all performed at around 2%/14% (measured/perceived), with pop-on occurring below 7% measured. This bulb also worked well on all Electronic Low Voltage dimmers, except Lutron Vierti (VTELV-600M) due to an insufficient load during testing. Amongst ELV dimmers, we recommend Lutron Maestro Wireless (MRF2-6ELV-120) for excellent performance and the added feature of wireless dimming control. We saw performance of about 3%/16% (measured/perceived) on this dimmer. Additionally the Magnetic Low Voltage Leviton Sureslide (6613-PL), Lutron Maestro Wireless (MRF2-6MLV), Lutron Maestro Wireless (MRF2-6ND-120), and Lutron Maestro Wireless (MRF2-10D-120) dimmers had good results of about 1%/12%, with pop-on below 3% measured. Lutron Radio RA2 (RRD-10ND) is compatible as well, but we do not sell this. LED/CFL and some MLV dimmers do not require a neutral wire. We do not recommend incandescent dimmers for this bulb.
